Lead Installer – High-End Custom Countertops

Cleveland, OH (West Side / Westlake area) | Full-Time | $30-$35/hour, with possibility of more depending on experience

About the Role

A well-established stone fabrication and installation company on Cleveland's west side is hiring a Lead Installer to run high-end custom countertop installs from start to finish. This is a true lead seat for someone who can run a job site and a crew independently, not just carry material. Our sales volume is growing, and we're building a dedicated in-house install team to match it.

You'll work with natural stone, quartz, and other premium surfaces on residential and commercial projects where precision and finish quality matter.

What You'll Do

• Run install jobs independently, coordinating the crew from arrival through final walk-through
• Handle large, heavy natural-stone slabs safely and without damage
• Deliver clean seams, precise sink cutouts, and accurate on-site scribing
• Represent the company on site with homeowners, designers, builders, and commercial clients
• Keep projects on schedule with zero damage and zero safety incidents
• Mentor and train newer installers and helpers
• Help in the shop when the install schedule is light

What You Bring

Required:

• 3+ years of high-end custom countertop installation experience
• Proven ability to run a job site and a crew independently
• Verifiable, checkable work history
• Comfortable and safe handling large, heavy natural-stone slabs
• Located within about 45–60 minutes of Westlake, OH
• Non-smoker (smoke-free workplace)

Preferred:

• Background in the stone or countertop industry
• Experience training or mentoring less-experienced installers or helpers
• Comfort representing the shop directly with high-end residential and commercial clients
• Multi-hat mindset, willing to pitch in wherever the work is
• Long-term, growth-minded approach to your career
