What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet designers and homeowners, learn about their projects, and help them discover the right materials for their vision.
- Guide clients through product selections with a thoughtful, low-pressure approach.
- Build relationships over time to become a trusted partner to local design professionals.
- Learn the product line and stay current on design trends to offer meaningful recommendations.
- Support your team with showroom upkeep, client follow-ups, and order coordination.
Schedule & Expectations:
- Full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham.
- Primarily Monday through Friday.
- Rotating short Saturday shift (about every 1–3 weeks); weekday hours flexed to maintain a 40-hour week.
- Occasional evening industry events for networking and client engagement.
What You Bring:
- A polished, professional presence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant sales/customer-facing experience.
- Natural interest in design, interiors, or architecture.
- Ability to learn and confidently speak to product offerings.
- Willingness to work rotating Saturdays and attend occasional evening events.
- Desire to build a long-term career in the design industry.
