We are seeking a Plant Manager for our client, a solid, global technical organization that is a leader in producing materials, components and sub-assemblies for the semiconductor tool manufacturing industry, as well as segmts of electronics, energy, healthcare, industrial, petrochemical and transport markets.


This site is extremely exciting because the challenges the leader will face is dealing with the high growth of this business. This site is profitable with double and triple growth potential and your leadership is a key element to strategize and create and manage systems that will sustain the growth in sales and customer orders.


We are seeking the entrepreuneurial mindset, a business builder with a technical/engineering background.

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree with relevant degree (Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Materials Science)
  • Experience managing engineering, production and technical departments
  • Understanding of Industrial environment, machined parts, refractory materials, metal forming, casting, glass making would be most desirable
  • Strong people management skills, leading a successful EHS culture
  • Experienced in change management
  • Has financial acumen and numeric aptitude,
  • Must be a Citizen of the U.S. or Permanent resident alien of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15


This role will:

  • manage finance

*production costs, labor and materials to achieve/exceed budget and drive profitable

growth

  • manage operational excellence

*work with the OpEx lead to deploy the production system

  • lead strategy

*assist with operating budget to deliver year on year improvements

*lead development and implementation

  • business development

*manage new product introduction, working with sales, engineering, technical and quality teams to meet current and future customer requirements

*continually improve in operational excellence for customer satisfaction with on time delivery

of quality products

  • lead people

*lead direct reports in Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Planning, Value Stream, and OpEx

*hands on leader, actively collaborating with staff, sharing best practices

*promote cross-functional relationships between departments and other sites

  • environmental, safety, risk & compliance

*commit and be a role model for a strong EHS culture

*maintain robust internal control environment

*instill goal of Zero accidents
