Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced, energetic Bar Manager to lead our high-volume bar operations. You’ll oversee the bar team and bar program in our bustling full-service restaurant, ensuring exceptional cocktail service, revenue optimization, and a vibrant guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bar team (bartenders and barbacks) to deliver outstanding, high-volume cocktail service and memorable guest experiences.
- Manage all bar operations, including inventory control, ordering, cost management, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and execute creative cocktail menus that highlight European influences while appealing to a broad audience.
- Oversee bar service during peak periods, ensuring smooth flow, efficient ticket times, and seamless integration with the dining room.
- Train, coach, and develop bartenders on mixology, upselling, guest interaction, and service standards.
- Handle guest interactions at the bar professionally — create a welcoming, energetic vibe while resolving any concerns quickly.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen, floor management, and ownership to optimize overall restaurant performance and maximize bar revenue.
- Uphold strict health, safety, and liquor compliance standards while managing pour costs and waste.
- Contribute to revenue growth through innovative programming, promotions, and creating an inviting bar atmosphere that drives repeat business.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of Bar Manager or Lead Bartender experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, craft cocktails, and European-inspired beverage programs (or a passion for creating elevated bar experiences).
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-energy setting while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills with a focus on revenue generation.
- Proficiency with POS systems, bar inventory software, and basic scheduling tools.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
