General Manager - Fine Dining Restaurant
Location: Picturesque coastal village of Yachats, Oregon
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

We are a comfortable fine-dining destination offering elevated, regionally inspired cuisine in the heart of Yachats. In the summer, our community swells to three times its size, transforming our restaurant into a premier gathering place for locals and travelers seeking exceptional hospitality, fresh Pacific Northwest seafood, and expertly crafted cocktails, beer, and wine.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and steward the full guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends strategic management with a strong presence on the floor. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational expertise, financial acumen, and a passion for mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Ensure daily readiness of the restaurant, uphold service standards, and support staff across all stations to deliver seamless, memorable experiences.

Team Development: Train, mentor, and coach the team to excel. Implement effective SOPs for all staff and continually refine front-of-house steps of service to elevate guest satisfaction.

Business Management: Oversee labor and product cost management, purchasing, inventory control, and P&L analysis.

Revenue Growth: Work closely with ownership and the executive chef to increase sales year-round, with a particular focus on driving revenue during slower seasons through creative programming, menu opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

Brand & Guest Experience Development: Help fine-tune and celebrate our brand. Set and execute clear goals for the entire team to elevate service, food quality, and the overall perceived value we deliver to every guest.

Strategic Collaboration: Identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen communication between front- and back-of-house, and implement plans that create a cohesive and positive work environment.

Community & Social Media Engagement: Represent the restaurant within the local community, nurture partnerships, and support initiatives that enhance visibility. Engage with social media efforts to build following, strengthen brand storytelling, and support marketing campaigns.

Seasonal Adaptability: Navigate the rhythm of a highly seasonal business, from slower winter months to the peak of summer.
