Operations Manager – Precision Manufacturing

Are you a proven manufacturing leader with experience in investment casting, wax manufacturing, ceramics, or aerospace production?
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key precision manufacturing operation supporting the production of highly engineered components.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, staffing, cost control, equipment and tooling coordination, and continuous improvement. You will lead production teams and work closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and other operational leaders to improve throughput and overall performance.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including significant operations leadership
- Investment casting experience strongly preferred
- Experience in wax manufacturing, wax pattern production, ceramics manufacturing, or related investment-casting processes is highly desirable
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a strong plus
- Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Area Manager, Department Manager, or similar leadership experience
- Proven success leading production teams and improving safety, quality, throughput, delivery, and cost
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, TOC, or other structured continuous improvement experience
- Strong understanding of production planning, capacity, labor utilization, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Planning
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Hands-on leadership style with a visible presence on the production floor
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered
