Operations Manager – Manufacturing

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience in metals, casting, aerospace, or other highly technical manufacturing environments?
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a critical post-cast manufacturing operation. This role oversees production performance from post-cast processing through finishing and preparation, with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, staffing, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily operations across post-cast processing, finishing, cleaning, inspection, and related production activities
- Drive safety, quality, throughput, delivery, labor efficiency, and cost performance
- Lead supervisors and production teams while developing accountability and performance
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Tooling, and Supply Chain
- Monitor production schedules, capacity, staffing, WIP, and customer delivery requirements
- Identify bottlenecks and lead process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste
- Establish and maintain standard work, 5S/6S, visual management, and other Lean practices
- Support equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and resolution of production issues
- Analyze KPIs and use data to drive operational decisions and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with significant leadership responsibility
- Metals, casting, foundry, aerospace or similar manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading production teams in a complex, process-driven manufacturing environment
- Strong background in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost management
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience working with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the production floor
