Director of Quality

A well-established, close-knit manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Quality leader to take ownership of its Quality function and help drive the next level of quality and continuous improvement.

Looking for candidates with any leadership titles in Qaulity for this small company of approximately 70 employees, very low turnover, and an open, friendly culture, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact without getting lost in a large corporate environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Quality team, systems, and daily activities
• Manage AS9100 / ISO 9001 certifications and quality systems
• Lead internal, customer, and certification audits
• Drive corrective action, root cause, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes and product quality
• Develop and monitor Quality metrics and trends
• Maintain procedures, work instructions, training, and documentation
• Work directly with the President & CEO on Quality strategy and improvements

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of Quality experience in manufacturing
• Strong AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 experience
• Quality leadership and team management experience
• Manufacturing experience with machining, welding, assembly, or similar processes
• Strong audit, corrective action, and problem-solving skills
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Technology, or related field preferred
