Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Kirtland/Mentor, Ohio area

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to lead its quality function across multiple facilities. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing quality strategy, strengthening systems, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Quality team and overall quality strategy
• Own the quality management system and maintain AS9100, ISO 9001 and related certifications
• Lead internal, customer and certification audits
• Drive corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes, quality and productivity
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and provide recommendations to senior leadership
• Ensure quality procedures, documentation and training are effectively maintained

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Technology or related technical field
• 7+ years of manufacturing quality experience
• Strong AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 experience
• Experience in a precision manufacturing environment preferred
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-facing skills
