Property Accountant | Portfolio Real Estate Investments

Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)

Our client is a growing real estate investment and asset management firm seeking a Portfolio Accountant to join its expanding accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of commercial and historic properties while working closely with accounting leadership, asset management, and third-party property managers.

In This Role You Will:

• Manage financial reporting for multiple properties across various states

• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close activities

• Support cash flow analysis and funding requests

• Assist with loan covenant compliance and lender reporting

• Participate in ownership allocations and property transaction activities

• Drive reporting accuracy and process improvements

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2+ years of property accounting, real estate accounting, or portfolio accounting experience

• Strong Excel and analytical capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities

• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus
