Human Resources Specialist
Needed for a Large professional services firm in downtown Cleveland is offering an opportunity with variety! Friendly, low turnover and great benefits! Free parking! Looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support hiring, onboarding, employee transitions, leave administration, and core HR operations. This role works across multiple locations and requires strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Support recruiting, onboarding, I-9 review, and new-hire setup.
• Coordinate terminations, final PTO calculations, and exit survey tracking.
• Manage employee leave documentation, communication, and compliance.
• Assist with compensation surveys, salary reviews, and year-end activities.
• Track required staff training and maintain HR databases.
• Prepare employee communications, update org charts, and handle general HR tasks.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years HR experience (professional-services experience helpful).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; HRIS experience (UKG a plus).
• Excellent communication, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
