Safety Coordinator – Construction

Northeastern Ohio | Full-Time

We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Coordinator to support job site safety, ensure compliance, and help build a strong, proactive safety culture across multiple projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Support EHS programs, audits, and OSHA compliance across job sites
• Lead safety orientations and assist with ongoing training
• Investigate incidents and maintain accurate reporting/documentation
• Manage OSHA logs, inspections, and safety records
• Partner with leadership to improve safety performance and reduce risk

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of safety or construction experience
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, audits, and incident investigations
• Strong communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to sites

Preferred:

• ASP, CHST, or CSP certification
• OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

The majority of the work is performed in office. The work primarily takes place indoors. However, there may be outdoor fieldwork and travel, which could be a significant part of the role. Depending on the project, department, or business demands, overnight stays may be expected.
