Project Engineer - Electrical

Location: Cleveland, OH / Multiple Regional Offices

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Work Arrangement: Hybrid after 90 days

We are conducting a confidential search for a Project Engineer – Electrical with an established multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer with building-design experience to work on commercial, healthcare, and educational projects while developing project and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings
• Work with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems
• Perform calculations, equipment selections, layouts, specifications, and cost estimates
• Develop and coordinate construction documents
• Support projects from concept through construction administration
• Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
• Manage multiple assignments and project deadlines
• Collaborate with and support engineers, designers, and interns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 3–7 years of electrical engineering/building-design experience
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and life safety systems
• Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills
• Ability to develop coordinated construction documents and calculations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• PE license or interest in pursuing licensure
• Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, commercial, or other complex institutional building projects.
• Experience with alternative project delivery methods
