Job Summary


The Production Manager provides training and leadership and for all team

members including development and professional growth. The Production

Manager is responsible for managing daily production operations to

ensure safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets are met.


Essential Functions


• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities.

• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery commitments

are met.

• Lead, coach, and manage production leads and hourly employees.

• Ensure adequate staffing, materials, and equipment to meet

production demands.

• Monitor production performance and address operational issues.

• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality

requirements.

• Support audits, investigations, corrective actions, and process

changes.

• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency

and reduce waste.

• Ensure accurate production documentation and reporting.

• Apply company policies consistently, including performance

management and corrective action.

• Participate in hiring, training, and development of production staff.

• Support new product introductions and equipment or process

validations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment.

• Set and track department goals and objectives in alignment with

company goals.

• Support team members to achieve their best performance and foster a

positive work environment.

• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts, coordinate with

Human Resources as needed.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations and

compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Provide training and development opportunities for team members,

helping them to improve their skills and advance their careers.

• Ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures

including OSHA safety standards, PPE, and ISO regulations.

• Approve timekeeping records in timekeeping system.




Education


• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or

related field (or equivalent experience)


Required Experience & Competencies

• 5+ years’ in a supervisory or management role.

• Skilled professional able to lead and motivate a team, manage

performance and resolve conflicts.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Competent in interpreting data, generating reports and making data-

driven decisions.

• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and

driving positive change.

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred

• Working knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and

safety requirements
