Vice President, Global Operations – Molding & Assembly
Position Summary
The Vice President, Global Operations – Molding, Assembly & Extrusion is responsible for leading and transforming the company’s global manufacturing footprint, including injection molding, silicone extrusion, automated assembly, and supply chain operations.
This executive will be a highly engaged, hands-on operational leader — as hands-on as a VP should be — capable of entering underperforming facilities, assessing gaps, building structured improvement plans, and driving measurable performance gains across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
The role is structured as a succession-track opportunity with the potential to advance into a President-level role, based on performance and business readiness.
This position requires a leader who can both operate at enterprise level and engage deeply at the plant level when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Global Operational Leadership & Turnaround
- Lead global injection molding, silicone extrusion, and automated assembly operations across multiple sites.
- Conduct structured operational assessments of existing facilities and develop detailed turnaround or performance improvement roadmaps.
- Drive stabilization and margin improvement in underperforming plants.

- Develop and execute 1–3 year operational transformation plans aligned to enterprise strategy.
Hands-On Execution
- Spend meaningful time onsite in facilities during critical periods (launches, turnarounds, audit preparation, major improvement initiatives).
- Engage directly with plant leadership teams to remove bottlenecks and accelerate decision-making.
- Review molding metrics (scrap, OEE, cycle time, validation stability), extrusion process capability, and automated assembly throughput.
