Anchor Talent has partnered with a global manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support its U.S. workforce.


This is a hands-on payroll role responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. The position will manage recurring payroll activities, resolve pay discrepancies, maintain payroll data, and support benefits-related reconciliation and administration.


The role is hybrid, with four days onsite and one remote day per week.


Key Responsibilities

  • Run U.S. payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a bi-weekly schedule.
  • Process payroll changes tied to new hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, and employee status changes as well as manage changes involving pay, deductions, taxes, garnishments, bonuses, overtime, and other employee payroll activity.
  • Support payroll requirements for a manufacturing workforce, including shift differentials and hourly pay practices.
  • Research employee pay issues and work with HR, Finance, and payroll partners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Review and reconcile benefit deductions, carrier invoices, and employee eligibility information.
  • Help resolve differences between payroll records, benefit records, and vendor billing.
  • Provide administrative support for employee benefit changes and enrollment activity to local workforce
  • Assist with payroll reporting, year-end processing, W-2 review, and audit requests.


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, ideally supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Experience working with ADP
  • Payroll experience within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or another hourly workforce environment strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of overtime, shift premiums, payroll deductions, garnishments, taxes, and payroll corrections.
  • Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
  • Exposure to union payroll is a plus.
  • Experience reconciling benefit deductions, eligibility, or benefit invoices.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort reviewing and validating payroll data.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership around payroll accuracy.
