Manual Mill Machinist

2nd Shift

Full Time

Winston, GA

Pay is $20-$28/hr (based on experience).

**Add $2/hr for night shift

*All depending upon experience.

*Unlimited Overtime

JOB DESCRIPTION

All applicants would be expected to hit the ground running – making parts from day one.

-Employer manufactures custom material handling equipment for the biggest and best companies in the world. We are growing and looking to add skilled tradesmen to our machine shop.

Responsibilities:

-Manufacture parts from engineering drawings primarily in aluminum and stainless steel.

-Perform all aspects of machining, including set-up, loading, adjustment, operation, and routine maintenance.

-Interpret and verify dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

-Check parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges

​Qualifications:

-Previous experience 2+ years minimum

-Prior Manual experience operating Bridgeport Vertical style Machines.

-Familiarity with machine tools and equipment (own tools preferred)

-Strong analytical and mathematical skills

-Strong attention to detail

-Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
