We are currently seeking an experienced Member Service Rep / Teller for a credit union located in Washington, DC 20002

Type: Full-time, temporary-to-hire

Pay: $18-21/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist members with teller and financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers in person.
• Process loan requests.
• Open new memberships, checking, and savings accounts.
• Receiving and verifying cash to handle daily cash disbursements.
• Balancing cash receipts and preparing daily work summary
• Maintaining neat and accurate records of all transactions.
• Knowing and understanding of all credit union products and services and cross-selling products that meet the needs of the membership, and making individual and contributing to branch goals.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a teller working in a bank or credit union.
• Strong in cash handling and negotiable items.
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Symitar and credit union experience a plus!
