HELOC & Mortgage Closer/Funder – Consumer Lending (Mortgage Bot)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HELOC & Mortgage Closer/Funder with consumer lending experience for a credit union in El Segundo, CA. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of the Mortgage Bot system.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (or similar shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents and coordinate escrow and notary dates
• Track loan progress electronically, sign off on conditions, notify appropriate parties of exceptions, and resolve issues to finalize loans
• Review documents to ensure conditions are met and maintain regulatory compliance
• Confirm approved stipulations and conditions are accurately reflected in loan files
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, and escrow to meet member service standards
• Handle wire requests with EFT and accounting to fund loans

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of HELOC funding/closing experience within a credit union or bank
• Consumer lending experience required
• Experience with Mortgage Bot system
• Enthusiastic, professional attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills
