We are currently seeking an experienced DMV Clerk / Auto Loan Servicing for a credit union located in Hawthorne, CA!

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A DMV CLERK IN A BANK, CREDIT UNION, OR AUTO LENDING COMPANY TO APPLY!

Type: Full-time, temporary / possible temp-to-hire

Pay: $25/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm or a shift close to that

Responsibilities:

• DMV‑related functions, such as processing title work, lien perfection, lien releases.
• Manage consumer loan accounts including loan payoffs.
• Ensure precise processing of loan payments and payment reversals.
• Handle complex inquiries from insurance companies, the DMV, and other third parties.
• Take incoming calls handling DMV and lien related requests.
• Processes release of titles on all paid-off collateral loans.

Requirements:

• 1 year of previous experience in a credit union, bank,or auto lending organization handling DMV duties.
• 2 years in a DMV processing capacity for 50 states.
• 1 year servicing auto loans.
• Knowledge of paperless title system.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and Internet.
• Familiar with consumer loan origination functions.
• Basic knowledge of lending products and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
• Working knowledge of DMV laws and regulations.
