We are currently seeking a Call Center Support Rep IRA / Trusts / Deceased Accounts for a credit union located in Gardena, CA!

 

Type: Full-time, temporary for 6 months! Possible temp-to-hire!

 

Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hr

 

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide centralized Deceased Account processing, and IRA support to multiple operations departments including the Call Center and Branches.  
  • Trust account processing.
  • Power of Attorney support.
  • Answer basic to advanced questions regarding IRA’s, deceased accounts, trusts, and power of attorney from credit union members, credit union staff, and branch personnel
  • Responsible for supporting Member Support Center phone queue and assisting members with completing transactions as requested by members.
  • Assist in maintaining daily, weekly and monthly quality controls of Deceased accounts and IRAs.
  • Conducts member research and assists in resolving IRA related service issues for front line staff.
  • Maintain minimal knowledge regarding IRA rules and regulations, including contribution rules, federal tax withholding and reporting.
  • Responsible for providing excellent member service.
  • Provide support in various areas as needed.


Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years in a bank or credit union processing deceased accounts, IRA support, and trust account processing.
  • Basic knowledge of new accounts, member service, and loan products.
  • Ability to professionally assist members with credit union products and services.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Spanish a plus.
