We are currently seeking an experienced Member Solutions Representative – Collections for a credit union located in Modesto, CA!

Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire

Pay: $24-27/hr

Schedule: Primarily Monday – Friday; includes rotating Saturdays with a weekday off provided when Saturday is worked.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service to all members
• Collect delinquent accounts promptly and effectively
• Document member communications and transactions while focusing on minimizing losses
• Be knowledgeable of regulations and procedures for recommending repossession and when to initiate a foreclosure proceeding on real estate loans. 
• Coordinate with repo agency, including skip tracing, vehicle recovery, and transportation
• Manage all facets of the Bankruptcy process and updates
• Handle loan extensions and negotiations
• Process member requests and assist with month-end reports
• Answer members’ inquiries and resolve members’ complaints in a timely and professional manner 

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent collections experience preferably within a credit union or bank
• Experience and understanding of collection technology programs, core systems, and other web applications
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability of handling a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
