Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
- Full-time contract opportunity with a consistent Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM first-shift schedule.
- No regularly scheduled weekends or holidays.
- Opportunity to build experience across scale-house operations, logistics coordination, customer service, reporting, inventory, and administrative accounting.
- Exposure to enterprise systems including Ariba and Oracle.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Manage day-to-day scale-house activities and help keep recyclable material moving accurately and efficiently through the facility.
- Weigh incoming recyclable materials and maintain accurate transaction and weight records.
- Coordinate and schedule outbound shipment loads.
- Calculate material purchases and process applicable cash-payment transactions.
- Reconcile daily cash activity and material weights and report results to management.
- Support daily, weekly, and month-end operational and accounting reporting.
- Compile inventory and financial information required for month-end reporting.
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, telephone support, recordkeeping, and spreadsheet maintenance.
- Interact directly with customers and waste suppliers regarding transactions, payments, accounts, and operational questions.
- Gather and analyze information for special projects while safeguarding confidential company and business information.
Are you an experienced administrative and scale operations professional ready to make an impact?
- Previous experience in administrative support, scale-house operations, logistics, shipping/receiving, customer service, or a related environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting practices, including reconciliation and transaction accuracy.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data entry, calculations, and operational reports.
- Ability to learn business and accounting platforms such as Oracle and Ariba.
- Strong attention to detail when handling weights, cash, inventory, and financial information.
- Customer-focused communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and facility visitors.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a plant-based team.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple administrative and operational priorities.
