The environment includes modern analytics, data warehouse, governance, transformation, and business intelligence technologies. This role will become the primary administrator across these platforms, taking ownership of responsibilities currently distributed among developers, technical leads, and managers while partnering closely with existing platform experts to learn the broader ecosystem.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Become the primary administrator for enterprise cloud data and analytics platforms including Sigma, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, Palantir, and related technologies.
• Manage users, roles, permissions, security configurations, databases, schemas, workspaces, and platform access.
• Evaluate requests for new environments, databases, workspaces, or roles and determine the most appropriate solution rather than simply processing requests.
• Partner with users and technical teams to understand requirements and guide them toward effective use of existing platform capabilities.
• Support the growing adoption of Sigma and the continued administration of a significant Snowflake environment.
• Use SQL to support platform provisioning, access administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Apply Python and other automation approaches to streamline repetitive administrative tasks.
• Explore opportunities to automate provisioning and platform-management workflows using modern tooling and AI-assisted technologies.
• Learn additional platforms from existing administrators and progressively expand ownership across the environment.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for platform administration while coordinating with established backup administrators.

Are You an Experienced Data Platform Administrator Ready to Make an Impact?

• Bring 5+ years of relevant systems or platform administration experience, with meaningful responsibility for enterprise technology environments.
• Have at least 2+ years of hands-on administration experience with a data or analytics platform.
• Demonstrate deep administration expertise in at least one platform such as Sigma, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, or Palantir.
• Sigma administration experience is highly desirable.
• Snowflake administration experience is highly desirable.
• Bring strong SQL skills and the ability to use SQL for administrative activities such as databases, roles, schemas, permissions, and provisioning.
• Have Python knowledge that can support scripting, automation, or administrative workflows.
• Understand access management, security, roles, permissions, authentication, and platform governance.
• Demonstrate the ability to investigate requests, understand business or technical needs, and recommend the right solution instead of simply executing tickets.
• Be interested in automating administrative processes and exploring AI-assisted or agent-based workflows.
• Be comfortable learning unfamiliar technologies and gradually assuming responsibility for additional platforms.
• Bring strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications are beneficial but are not required.
