How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead site/civil engineering efforts from early concept through design, permitting, construction support, and project closeout.
- Direct the development of site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, erosion and sediment control measures, and supporting civil infrastructure.
- Perform and oversee hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, stormwater management design, technical reports, and SWPPP documentation.
- Manage project workflow while coordinating designers, engineers, permitting resources, contractors, clients, and government agencies.
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable municipal, state, and regulatory requirements affecting land development projects.
- Coordinate permitting, entitlement, as-built documentation, and platting activities through completion.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of civil engineering plans, calculations, and technical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers, designers, and interns while supporting their technical and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships.
- Manage project priorities, schedules, team resources, and delivery expectations with attention to project performance and profitability.
- Represent the organization professionally with clients, industry organizations, prospective employees, and community partners.
Do you bring proven success in site development and civil project leadership?
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a bachelor's degree in another engineering discipline combined with substantial professional civil engineering experience.

3+ years of site/civil engineering experience, with demonstrated progression in responsibility and leadership.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Carolina or North Carolina.
- Strong hands-on experience with site development projects spanning multiple project types.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and civil infrastructure design.
- Experience performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using applicable stormwater software.
- Ability to prepare or oversee stormwater calculations, reports, and regulatory documentation.
- Experience navigating local and state permitting and agency requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and sound engineering judgment when making technical design decisions.
- Ability to organize multiple projects and priorities while providing technical guidance to junior team members.
- Client-facing confidence and an interest in developing long-term professional relationships.
