How You Will Make An Impact:
- Act as the primary liaison between Fixed Income business stakeholders and technology teams
- Partner directly with Trading Desks to troubleshoot day-to-day issues and improve front-office workflows
- Gather, document, and translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications
- Analyze current trade flows and identify gaps as the business evaluates new platform solutions
- Support system implementation efforts, including scope definition, testing coordination, and production rollout
- Assess risks and business impacts of system changes and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with external vendors to validate functional requirements and test system enhancements
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing legacy technology and improving eTrading capabilities
Are you an experienced Fixed Income Business Analyst ready to make an impact?
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Fixed Income domain, focused on Rates and Credit (cash and derivatives)
- Strong understanding of broker-dealer or investment banking environments, including front-to-back trade flows
- Hands-on exposure to Sales & Trading systems and eTrading platforms
- Solid knowledge of market data, market making concepts, and pre-trade workflows
- Experience with Bloomberg TOMS is required
- Familiarity with platforms such as Tradeweb, MarketAxess, ION, ALLQ, or ICE (BondPoint, TMC) preferred
- Understanding of TRACE reporting and regulatory environments is a plus
- SQL and relational database knowledge preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technology issues, diagnose root causes, and recommend scalable solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Forward-thinking mindset with a focus on process improvement and innovation
- FINRA Series 99 certification is a plus
