How You Will Make An Impact

• Serve as a senior IT Business Analyst supporting Global Markets Sales and Trading teams
• Act as the primary liaison between traders, operations, and technology teams for issue analysis and resolution
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and facilitate resolution of production issues impacting trading and booking systems
• Support user inquiries related to trade entry, pricing, booking, and lifecycle events
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely escalation and communication of critical issues
• Contribute to system stability and operational efficiency across FX, derivatives, and securities platforms

Do you bring proven success supporting FX and derivatives trading platforms?

• 10+ years of experience supporting FX and derivatives systems in a financial services environment
• Strong product knowledge across FX (Spot, Forward, NDF, Options, Swaps)
• Experience supporting money market products including CDs, CPs, and time deposits
• Working knowledge of repo / reverse repo and securities trading workflows
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle events from entry and pricing through booking, settlement, and collateral
• Prior exposure to front-office or trading support systems (experience with SMBC FOX and OBS systems strongly preferred)
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to support global stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate calmly in high-pressure trading environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
