The Derivative Products Group (DPG) operates at the core of the firm’s trading and structured solutions platform, supporting complex financial instruments and fast-moving market activity.

The Middle and Back Office Technology team plays a critical role in ensuring stability, scalability, and precision across derivative processing and reporting systems. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and deeply technical—where engineering rigor directly supports trading operations, regulatory commitments, and financial accuracy. Teams operate in close partnership with business stakeholders, ensuring technology solutions are tightly aligned with evolving market demands.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting derivatives operations
  • Implement new features and system enhancements aligned with evolving business needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments
  • Partner with stakeholders across middle/back office and trading support teams to gather requirements
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability

Are you an experienced enterprise application developer ready to make an impact in capital markets technology?

  • 10+ years of hands-on application development experience
  • Strong proficiency in one or more enterprise languages (Java, C#, Python preferred)
  • Experience working within financial services or capital markets environments strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of application architecture, object-oriented design, and system integration
  • Experience working in hybrid/on-site collaborative enterprise settings
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and production support experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
