Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, supporting enterprise-level financial technology platforms. The role offers exposure to risk and P&L reporting systems, complex application development, and collaboration with a large technical team in a regulated financial services environment.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Design, develop, test, and support software solutions that address business, user, and reporting requirements.
  • Support ongoing enhancement and maintenance of risk and P&L reporting platforms.
  • Build and maintain applications using C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and related development frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, business users, and technical stakeholders to solve complex application and data challenges.
  • Contribute clean, maintainable code that follows established development standards and best practices.
  • Support a team-oriented development environment where communication, problem-solving, and technical ownership are key to success.

Are you an experienced .NET application developer ready to make an impact?

  • 10+ years of overall professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on C#/.NET development experience, including deep knowledge of .NET Core fundamentals.
  • Strong SQL Server development skills and solid understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Angular and modern front-end development frameworks.
  • Python experience is beneficial, but not required.
  • Experience in financial services is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to risk reporting, regulatory reporting, P&L reporting, or capital markets systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in a test-first/test-driven development environment and writing code aligned to industry standards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large development team supporting complex technical platforms.
