How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead design responsibilities for electrical systems across municipal and architectural projects.
- Participate in project pursuits, client meetings, and design reviews to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop project narratives, cost estimates, plans, and specifications in compliance with codes and standards.
- Perform site assessments of existing buildings and provide technical input on system improvements.
- Deliver high-quality lighting design, photometrics, and power distribution solutions.
- Oversee project phases including design, drawing coordination, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct site observations, review shop drawings, and manage material submittals.
Do You Bring Proven Success in Electrical Engineering?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (required); willingness to obtain registration in additional states.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing power distribution and controls for municipal and architectural projects.
- Demonstrated expertise with AutoCAD; proficiency in Revit is a strong plus.
- Specific experience with Motor Control Center design.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in lighting design and photometrics preferred.
- Previous work on water/wastewater facilities and K–12 educational projects is highly desirable.
