Hybrid opportunity based in New York City.
- Work directly with business stakeholders, trading teams, technology partners, and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gain exposure to technology initiatives supporting credit products, secured financing, securities lending/borrowing, and repo businesses.
- Contribute to process modernization, automation, and technology enhancements within a major financial services environment.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and improved controls.
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support technology initiatives from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation validation.
- Facilitate communication among trading, business, operations, technology, and project stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Develop process maps, reports, dashboards, and supporting documentation used for decision-making and project execution.
- Help drive technology enhancements supporting credit and secured-financing businesses.
Do You Bring Proven Success in Business Analysis Within Capital Markets?
- 5–7 years of business analysis experience, ideally supporting financial services or capital markets technology.
- Strong experience gathering requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, and documenting functional requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to map business processes and translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Excel, Visio, and Tableau.
- Exposure to modern productivity and AI-enabled tools such as Rovo and Microsoft Copilot is valuable.
- Prior experience supporting credit products, repo, secured financing, securities lending, or securities borrowing is strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe, or similar business-analysis/Agile certification is a plus.
