Be Part Of A Dynamic Team:
This opportunity is with a supply chain technology organization supporting a major transportation systems transformation. The team is modernizing its transportation management platform, improving how logistics data moves across internal and external systems, and strengthening the technology foundation for 3PL, managed freight, brokerage, and future fleet operations. This is a highly collaborative project environment involving business operations, IT delivery, vendors, architects, developers, QA, process design, and change management partners.
What's In Store For You:
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys complex transportation systems work, wants to be close to the business, and can contribute quickly to an active transformation program.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Support a large transportation management system transformation focused on TMS implementation, EDI integration, API/file-based integrations, financial integrations, UAT, and production readiness.
- Partner with transportation business stakeholders, IT delivery teams, vendors, architects, developers, EDI/integration teams, QA, and project leadership to clarify business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Help move the project from current-state mapping into future-state design, integration mapping, requirements alignment, testing preparation, and implementation readiness.
- Analyze and document transportation workflows across order creation, routing, dispatch, load tendering, shipment tracking, carrier activity, brokerage, managed freight, billing, AP, invoicing, settlement, reporting, exceptions, and downstream processes.
- Support EDI-heavy integration work involving customer, carrier, shipper, ERP, financial, and partner system data flows.
- Define and refine business requirements, functional requirements, integration requirements, data mappings, interface specifications, message flows, business rules, assumptions, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Work with technical teams to clarify field-level requirements, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, validation needs, error handling, reconciliation points, and upstream/downstream impacts.
- Support UAT planning and execution by helping business users define use cases, trace issues through system and business processes, manage defects, coordinate retesting, and support end-to-end validation.
- Participate in training and system learning activities to build enough knowledge to support the business through testing, deployment readiness, hypercare, and production support transition.
- Use delivery and testing tools such as Azure DevOps and ServiceNow to support testing, defect management, issue tracking, and hypercare processes.
