Be Part of a Dynamic Team

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading organization within the intermodal logistics and transportation sector. The company’s Metals Intermodal division plays a key role in connecting operations across North America, ensuring specialized freight such as coils, bar, and plate is delivered with precision and efficiency. The team thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where building structure and driving innovation are highly valued. With operations spanning multiple regions, this division offers both visibility and impact across the broader business.

What’s In Store For You

  • High-impact, build-from-scratch leadership role where you will establish the pricing function from the ground up.
  • Exposure to a cross-functional team environment spanning Operations, Sales, and Intermodal Pricing.
  • Direct partnership with senior leadership and visibility across the organization.
  • Opportunity to grow into future team leadership once the foundation is proven.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Design and implement a centralized pricing strategy and governance framework for the Metals Intermodal division.
  • Develop clear processes, documentation, analytics, and tools to support consistent, data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operations, Sales, and Pricing to drive alignment and execution.
  • Translate fragmented data into actionable insights that support competitiveness and profitability.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for flatbed and intermodal pricing, with a focus on post-customs dray/transload for metals freight.
  • Establish the foundation for a pricing team and transition into a leadership role as the function grows.

Are You an Experienced Pricing Leader Ready to Make an Impact?

  • Proven expertise in flatbed and/or intermodal pricing within logistics or transportation.
  • Track record of success in building or restructuring pricing functions (vs. only working within mature pricing orgs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to create clarity from fragmented or incomplete data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work with senior leadership, Sales, and Operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of metals-specific freight (coils, bar, plate).
  • Experience pricing across U.S., Mexico, and Canada markets.
  • Background in intermodal dray and transload operations for post-customs freight.
