How You Will Make An Impact:
- Serve as the Sanctions Screening SME, clearly articulating Fircosoft Continuity, Trust, and Classic platform design, filtering logic, and watchlist workflows to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and upgrade to Fircosoft Version 6, including configuration analysis, algorithm review, and filter tuning.
- Partner with Technology teams to stay current on platform enhancements and ensure alignment with screening program objectives.
- Draft comprehensive business requirements, use cases, functional specifications, and test scripts.
- Lead and execute UAT efforts, validating screening logic, rulesets, and downstream impacts.
- Develop process maps, data-flow diagrams, and documentation reflecting current and future state screening architecture.
- Define and document data, logic, and rule requirements for sanctions and BSA/AML screening systems.
- Identify technical and operational risks within screening workflows and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to evaluate screening outputs, customer/product/transaction trends, and risk indicators.
- Produce MIS and analytical reporting for senior management, leveraging quantitative and statistical methods to enhance monitoring tools.
Are you a proven Financial Crimes Compliance Business Analyst with deep Fircosoft expertise?
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services, ideally in BSA/AML or sanctions screening environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Fircosoft Continuity and Trust, including configuration, algorithm analysis, filter tuning, and use of Fircosoft Classic.
- Proven experience supporting Fircosoft upgrades (Version 6 preferred).
- Strong background drafting business requirements, functional specifications, and test scripts.
- Experience leading or supporting UAT and end-to-end SDLC processes in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing MIS and management reporting.
- Ability to translate complex technical screening logic into clear business documentation.
- Experience collaborating with Compliance, Technology, and QA teams in regulated environments.
- Certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
