How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead end-to-end analysis and governance efforts to rationalize downstream data flows following the FOX Upgrade Project.
- Conduct structured discovery to identify all systems referencing FOX, including RDB and non-RDB consumers.
- Map system dependencies and document data lineage across enterprise platforms.
- Define and govern target-state data architecture with Izumi as the enterprise-wide Golden Source.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and design governance sessions across architecture and engineering teams.
- Define data parity validation strategies between legacy RDB systems and lakehouse outputs.
- Oversee validation reviews, defect triage governance, and root-cause documentation.
- Lead transition and migration planning for grouped downstream systems to minimize business disruption.
- Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, risk mitigation frameworks, and executive-ready documentation.
- Provide structured governance reporting and stakeholder updates throughout all project phases.
Are you an experienced Bilingual IT Business Analyst ready to lead enterprise data governance transformation?
- 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or enterprise data environments.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) — required.
- Strong experience leading stakeholder interviews, workshops, and cross-functional governance forums.
- Proven expertise in enterprise data flow analysis, system dependency mapping, and data lineage documentation.
- Experience defining functional and non-functional requirements in structured environments.
- Familiarity with RDB systems, data lakehouse architectures, and Golden Source strategies.
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, parity testing, and defect triage governance.
- Experience supporting large-scale system migrations or transformation programs.
- Excellent documentation, traceability, and governance discipline.
- Strong executive communication and facilitation skills within regulated financial institutions preferred.
