How You Will Make An Impact:
- Assess current-state architectures to identify technical debt, constraints, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Define target-state architectures that support scalable, business-aligned enterprise capabilities
- Create architecture points of view for priority initiatives across cloud, data, AI, integrations, and collaboration
- Evaluate architectural options with balanced analysis of tradeoffs, risks, costs, and business impact
- Develop reference architectures, standards, and best practices for repeatable enterprise use cases
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture governance and Architecture Review Board processes
- Present and refine architecture recommendations in partnership with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Socialize architecture guidance with program teams, solution teams, and delivery partners
- Support select proof-of-concept efforts when deeper validation is needed
- Translate technical roadmaps into clear business value and decision-ready recommendations
Do you have the expertise to lead in enterprise architecture across business, data, technology, and systems domains?
- 15+ years of overall IT experience preferred
- 5+ years of direct Enterprise Architecture experience required
- Additional experience in Solution, Application, Systems, or Data Architecture strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate across business architecture, data architecture, technology architecture, and systems/application architecture
- Strong experience assessing current state, defining target state, and building practical architecture roadmaps
- Proven ability to create architecture POVs, standards, and reference architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP
- Architectural depth in modern data platforms including Snowflake, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Exposure to AI/ML architectures including predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI use cases
- Strong integration architecture knowledge across APIs, pub-sub, streaming, and file-transfer patterns
- Experience working through governance forums and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve ambiguity and competing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Information Management, or a related field
- TOGAF, Zachman, or similar framework familiarity preferred
- Life sciences, biotech, med tech, or healthcare experience preferred
- Familiarity with regulated environments and GxP-aligned business capabilities is a strong plus
