Be Part Of A Dynamic Team:
Join a well-established enterprise environment supporting critical cybersecurity engineering initiatives across endpoint, infrastructure, and enterprise security operations. This team is focused on strengthening security controls, reducing organizational risk, and improving the effectiveness of core security technologies across a distributed environment. The culture appears highly collaborative and operationally minded, with close partnership across Infrastructure, Network, and Application teams to ensure security is practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
What’s In Store For You:
Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to meaningful cybersecurity engineering work in a hands-on environment where security tooling, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and hardening efforts directly support enterprise resilience. The role supports either a remote arrangement or a hybrid setup in Atlanta, providing flexibility while remaining closely connected to core IT and security stakeholders.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls that protect systems, users, and data
- Deploy, configure, and support security technologies across endpoint, device, network, and identity-related domains
- Execute security standards including hardening, secure configuration baselines, and access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to identify vulnerabilities, missing patches, and remediation priorities
- Risk-rank security findings based on threat, exposure, and business impact, then communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders
- Track remediation efforts and validate patch completion through reporting and supporting tools
- Support endpoint and device security initiatives such as whitelisting, USB controls, peripheral restrictions, and exception handling
- Troubleshoot technical security issues while balancing business continuity and security posture
- Serve as a technical security partner during operational changes, projects, and incident support activities
- Recommend improvements to security controls, reduce technical debt, and help modernize legacy processes and systems
