How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance data structures for advanced analytics
  • Partner with data engineers to integrate and harmonize data across multiple sources
  • Build and optimize database schemas using medallion architecture, including relational, star schema, and denormalized models
  • Establish strong data governance practices through metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality frameworks
  • Implement master data modeling strategies to ensure a single source of truth across key business entities
  • Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and efficient query execution
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity in data usage and capabilities
  • Continuously enhance data modeling approaches based on evolving technologies and business needs

Are you an experienced data modeling professional ready to make an impact in modern analytics environments?

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in data modeling within a Lakehouse or modern analytics environment
  • Strong experience in the insurance domain (P&C, Life, or Healthcare)
  • Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ER Studio
  • Deep knowledge of Databricks Delta tables and Postgres databases
  • Expertise in SQL and DDL development
  • Hands-on experience with big data platforms (Databricks, Spark, AWS, Azure)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities
