How You Will Make An Impact

  • Serve as a project manager and/or technical lead for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through studies, planning, design, and project delivery activities.
  • Develop technical designs, engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership for water and wastewater treatment projects, including equipment sizing and selection.
  • Coordinate project schedules, staffing needs, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering documents, calculations, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support client relationships, proposal development, and business development efforts through strong project execution.

Do you bring proven success in water and wastewater engineering leadership?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required in Georgia or ability/planned path to obtain licensure.
  • Strong technical background in municipal water and wastewater systems, treatment projects, and infrastructure design.
  • Experience developing engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction document packages.
  • Working knowledge of technical standards, design methods, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with engineers, contractors, survey teams, and municipal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, BCEE, PMP, or LEED AP certification.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations and commitment to continuous industry learning are preferred.
