How You Will Make an Impact
- Lead and manage aviation engineering projects from initial scope through design, budget, scheduling, and client delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating project planning, funding, subcontracting, and reporting.
- Oversee design deliverables, ensuring all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct engineering calculations and design analysis in alignment with FAA and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) standards.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, and exhibits using MicroStation and OpenRoads software.
- Support cross-functional teams, guiding engineers and designers to successful project completion.
- Monitor compliance with project requirements, safety protocols, and organizational quality assurance standards.
Do You Have a Track Record of Success in Aviation Engineering Project Management?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia (required).
- 6–10 years of professional experience in aviation or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated background managing FAA and GDOT aviation-related projects.
- Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads design tools strongly preferred; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience also considered.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with a focus on client service and collaboration.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to outdoor project sites as needed.
