Join the enterprise technology organization supporting a major global financial-services institution with a complex, highly regulated infrastructure environment. This team is responsible for maintaining resilient technology platforms while modernizing critical infrastructure and reducing operational risk. The engineer will support a major Data Center Exit initiative spanning storage, compute, and virtualization, working closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams to execute migrations safely while protecting business continuity.

  • Opportunity to work across infrastructure, application, engineering, and business teams.
  • This position requires significant evening and weekend availability, with migration and cutover activity expected on most weekends through approximately August 2027.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Support the engineering execution of a large-scale data center exit and infrastructure migration program.
  • Perform storage migrations, physical and virtual server migrations, and supporting environment-build activities.
  • Prepare infrastructure and workloads for scheduled migration waves and production cutovers.
  • Participate in technical testing, migration validation, troubleshooting, and post-cutover verification.
  • Coordinate closely with application owners, infrastructure engineering teams, and business stakeholders to minimize service disruption.
  • Support infrastructure decommissioning after successful migration and validation.
  • Execute migration activities during evening and weekend maintenance windows when required.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues throughout migration planning, execution, and stabilization.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Enterprise Infrastructure Migration?

  • Bring approximately 5–7 years of relevant infrastructure engineering experience.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience supporting enterprise data center, infrastructure, server, storage, or virtualization migrations.
  • Have practical experience with storage infrastructure and/or compute and virtualization environments.
  • Understand migration lifecycle activities including environment preparation, testing, cutover, validation, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
  • Be comfortable supporting production-impacting infrastructure work during scheduled evening and weekend maintenance windows.
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across complex infrastructure environments.
  • Communicate effectively with infrastructure teams, application teams, technical stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Work effectively within coordinated migration schedules where dependencies and business continuity are critical.
