How You Will Make An Impact
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve LAN/WAN infrastructure across routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and related network systems.
- Support daily network operations, including incident resolution, change requests, performance monitoring, and production stability.
- Diagnose and resolve routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues across on-premises and cloud-connected environments.
- Maintain strong documentation, including network diagrams, configuration records, MOPs, support procedures, and change-related documentation.
- Review the current environment and provide practical recommendations to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Support new site or infrastructure implementation work as needed, while remaining hands-on in production support and troubleshooting.
Are you a proven hands-on network engineering professional ready to make an impact?
- 10+ years of network engineering, network infrastructure, or IT infrastructure operations experience preferred.
- Strong Cisco networking expertise required, including hands-on routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, and firewall fundamentals.
- CCNP required; CCIE strongly preferred.
- Experience with Cisco platforms, Meraki wireless, firewalls, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of ITIL-aligned change management, incident management, documentation, and operational support practices.
- Exposure to GCP and/or AWS networking is a plus, especially VPC/VPE concepts, routing, security groups, and cloud-to-on-prem connectivity.
- Must be comfortable working hands-on in both operations and implementation.
- Must be able to work onsite in Bridgewater, NJ at least three days per week.
