How You Will Make An Impact:

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise database environments across production and non-production systems
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery readiness
• Monitor system health and proactively address performance bottlenecks
• Implement database security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Partner with application development teams to optimize queries, indexing strategies, and database performance
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of database-related production incidents
• Support database upgrades, patching, migrations, and capacity planning
• Contribute to automation initiatives and infrastructure-as-code best practices

Are you a proven database administration professional ready to make an impact?

• 5+ years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise environments
• Strong experience with one or more of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plans
• Experience with backup/recovery strategies, replication, clustering, and high-availability configurations
• Strong understanding of database security, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting production environments with strict uptime requirements
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with monitoring tools and database performance diagnostics
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred:

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Exposure to capital markets or high-volume transactional systems
• Cloud database experience (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, managed MongoDB, etc.)
• Scripting or automation experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience supporting database migrations or modernization initiatives
