How You Will Make An Impact:

• Lead backend engineering efforts supporting external API and third-party integrations
• Design and develop AWS-centric integration services and reusable backend components
• Build scalable API-driven solutions supporting customers, vendors, and external business partners
• Help modernize legacy integration workflows into cloud-native architectures
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver integration solutions
• Support automation and self-service initiatives that improve operational efficiency
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, solution guidance, and engineering collaboration
• Utilize modern AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows to improve development speed and efficiency

Are you a proven backend integration engineering professional?

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong expertise with APIs and third-party integrations
• Deep hands-on AWS experience, including serverless and integration-focused services
• Strong Java development background
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native integration architectures
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, XML/JSON, SFTP, and distributed systems
• Experience working within Agile product teams
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor developers
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot preferred
• Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries preferred
• Exposure to webMethods BPM or similar integration platforms preferred
