This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina, supporting a business control and loan operations function. The role offers exposure to loan servicing operations, compliance-driven documentation, reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives within a structured banking environment.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Manage post-origination loan servicing activities, including payment processing, payoff support, loan adjustments, and servicing system updates.
- Review loan documents and account data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to servicing-related inquiries from borrowers, internal stakeholders, and third-party contacts.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and servicing errors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain loan records and prepare reports to support audits, compliance reviews, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Contribute to servicing process improvements, policy updates, and system-related enhancements.
Are you a proven loan servicing professional ready to make an impact?
- 10+ years of experience preferred in loan servicing, banking operations, lending operations, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of loan payments, payoffs, adjustments, account reconciliation, documentation review, and servicing workflows.
- Familiarity with loan servicing systems and loan documentation standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to loan servicing and consumer finance.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to work accurately across reports, records, and account data.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with internal teams, borrowers, and third parties.
