How You Will Make An Impact:
- Support the development and implementation of enterprise data security governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Help ensure data protection controls align with internal security requirements and external regulatory expectations
- Contribute to enterprise data classification initiatives and ensure proper handling of sensitive data across systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed governance practices into business and technology processes
- Assist in audit readiness, regulatory responses, and internal assurance activities related to data security
- Translate policy requirements into actionable controls in partnership with technical teams
Are you an experienced data security governance professional ready to make an impact?
- 10+ years of experience in data security, information protection, or governance within regulated environments (financial services preferred)
- Strong understanding of data security principles including classification, encryption, DLP, and secure data handling
- Experience working with information security governance frameworks and policy lifecycle management
- Background supporting audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting related to data protection
- Familiarity with enterprise data environments, IAM, and security architecture
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders and operationalize policy into practice
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills, including executive-level materials
