This role supports a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP transformation for an established distribution-focused organization with complex warehouse operations, multi-site financial processes, and high-volume order flows. The team is building a long-term internal ERP product organization that will gradually take ownership from the external systems integrator. This environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and forward-thinking, with continuous rollout cycles occurring every few months. The work provides broad visibility across Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Technology while contributing to a mission-critical enterprise platform.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Own configuration, design, and support for core D365 Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, and Period-End Close.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and business stakeholders to translate complex finance processes into scalable D365 capabilities.
- Collaborate with the systems integrator to evaluate designs, challenge recommendations, and ensure alignment with real-world business needs.
- Perform fit/gap analysis, define technical and functional specifications, and oversee configuration, customizations, and integrations across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Support unit testing and UAT cycles, troubleshoot escalated issues, and contribute to continuous rollout cycles occurring every ~3 months.
- Maintain financial controls, compliance standards, internal audit trails, and accurate financial data flows across all entities and business units.
- Lead improvements in financial reporting, period close processes, and automation across finance operations.
Do You Bring Proven Success in D365 Finance Implementation and Optimization?
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with core D365 F&O Finance modules, or 10+ years of ERP finance experience across other major platforms.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Tax Setup, and financial close processes.
- Demonstrated success in ERP implementations and post-go-live optimization.
- Experience working with multi-entity or multi-site financial structures.
- Ability to challenge and guide design decisions from an SI or technical partner.
- Experience translating complex financial requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability with finance-related systems.
- Excellent communication skills with business-facing experience across Accounting, FP&A, and Operations.
- Understanding of internal controls, US GAAP, SOX requirements, and financial compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or strong accounting background.
- Experience in distribution, warehouse, or dynamic supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or Azure-based integrations.
- Prior work with legacy ERPs such as Infor, Epicor, or PDI.
- Experience with data migration tools and approaches.
