This position will support a major Data Center Exit program, working alongside infrastructure, application, and business teams to migrate storage, servers, and virtualized workloads into their target environments. The work requires strong coordination, disciplined execution, and careful risk management because many migration activities affect production systems.

Hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Long-term contract engagement currently scheduled through September 2027.
- Opportunity to participate in a large-scale enterprise data center transformation involving storage, compute, virtualization, migration, and decommissioning activities.
- Exposure to complex enterprise infrastructure environments and cross-functional technology teams.
- Candidates must be comfortable supporting evening and weekend migration/cutover activities, with migration work currently anticipated on most weekends through August 2027.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Support the execution of a major enterprise Data Center Exit and infrastructure migration program.
- Perform storage, physical server, and virtual machine migration activities across enterprise environments.
- Assist with infrastructure/environment builds required to prepare target environments for migrations.
- Participate in migration testing, readiness validation, cutover execution, and post-migration verification.
- Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during migration and infrastructure transition activities.
- Support infrastructure decommissioning once systems and workloads have been successfully migrated.
- Coordinate closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, technical stakeholders, and business partners to minimize operational disruption.
- Help maintain business continuity by executing migration activities according to established technical, testing, and rollback procedures.
- Participate in evening and weekend migration windows required for production cutovers.
Are you an experienced infrastructure migration professional ready to make an impact?
- Bring approximately 5–7 years of relevant infrastructure engineering experience.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure migrations.
- Have experience working with server, compute, virtualization, and/or storage environments.
- Understand migration lifecycle activities including environment preparation, testing, cutover, validation, troubleshooting, and decommissioning.
- Be comfortable supporting production infrastructure changes during evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex infrastructure environments.
- Be able to coordinate effectively across infrastructure, application, and business teams.
- Work carefully within change-controlled environments where minimizing production risk is critical.
- Bring strong communication, documentation, and execution discipline.
