Be Part of a Dynamic Team

Join a purpose-driven Medical Affairs team leading the U.S. strategy for a novel respiratory indication: Chronic Rhinosinusitis without Nasal Polyps (CRSsNP). As the dedicated Medical Director, you’ll own pre-launch planning, develop U.S.-focused disease awareness strategies, and serve as a key scientific voice across medical, commercial, HEOR, and clinical functions. This newly created role is critical to shaping strategy in an area with no current treatment options—helping patients with a long-overlooked condition.

What’s In Store For You

  • Lead the U.S. medical strategy for CRSsNP with a heavy focus on pre-launch planning in an early-stage disease state.
  • Serve as the primary Medical Affairs voice in cross-functional U.S. discussions—collaborating closely with Clinical Development, HEOR, Commercial, and Field Medical teams.
  • Partner with scientific communications and training teams to develop core materials including FAQs, backgrounders, and internal training decks.
  • Help shape disease awareness and KOL engagement strategies, particularly for an underserved condition with limited clinical familiarity.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence generation and clinical trial support, aligning data needs with medical and commercial strategy.
  • Work in a matrixed global environment—focusing ~90% on U.S. strategy, with light coordination with global teams (primarily Japan).
  • Engage occasionally on-site in New Jersey for in-person collaboration on workshops or strategy sessions.
  • Support continuity for an urgent need while the client conducts a full-time search—this contract position could potentially extend or convert based on performance.

How You Will Make An Impact

You’ll be the strategic and scientific architect behind the U.S. medical affairs plan for CRSsNP, laying the groundwork for a future launch in a space with no current standard of care. Your contributions will help establish the disease in the minds of clinicians, identify evidence gaps, and drive internal and external alignment for a successful entry into a novel market. This role is especially impactful for those who thrive on shaping medical narratives from the ground up.

Are You a Medical Director, Respiratory Rock Star?

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 6–10 years of Medical Affairs experience, including significant pre-launch planning and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience in CRSsNP, ENT, Allergy/Immunology, or Pulmonology highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of how to build disease awareness, particularly in early-stage or underserved indications.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex science and guide internal stakeholders.
  • Prior success operating within a matrixed team that includes clinical, HEOR, commercial, and field medical partners.
  • Comfort working independently while managing high-visibility initiatives.
  • MD preferred (especially due to limited clinical expertise on the current team). PhD or PharmD candidates will be considered if they bring exceptional experience in respiratory or immunology and are open to adjusted compensation.
