Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
This is a long-term hybrid contract opportunity based in New York City. The role offers exposure to enterprise-scale technology platforms, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and production operations within a global financial services environment.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Design, maintain, and improve technology platforms used for application deployment and ongoing operations.
- Develop infrastructure automation that improves platform consistency, scalability, and deployment speed.
- Configure and support continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and workflows.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, capacity, and overall system health.
- Investigate infrastructure and deployment issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
- Partner with application developers, infrastructure teams, and support functions to deliver reliable production services.
- Strengthen operational controls, documentation, and repeatable platform engineering practices.
Do you bring proven success in DevOps and platform engineering?
- 3–5 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automated software deployment processes.
- Proficiency with scripting or automation languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and modern application deployment environments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and monitoring practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot platform, deployment, performance, and availability issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across development and infrastructure teams.
- Experience supporting financial services, capital markets, or other regulated environments is preferred.
