· Ideally, you have service, construction, support, and sales experience from the petroleum industry. By petroleum, we don’t mean oilfield. If you understand the inner workings of a service station (pumps, tanks, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and have managed install technicians, you could be perfect for the role!
· We WILL also consider someone that has worked in parallel industries such as HVAC, electrical, controls and facilities maintenance.
· MUST have experience running a branch, leading direct reports such as technicians, P&L responsibility, and budget oversight.
What’s an average day?
· 30% Office Management
· 25% Project Management
· 10% Financial transactions oversight (AR/AP)
· 20% Rapid problem resolution
· 15% Miscellaneous task, including customer interaction, service coordination and pricing strategies
Responsibilities:
· Engage in strategic management of branch operations, ensuring sales, service, and inventory are thriving.
· Develop innovative strategies to bolster sales and profitability.
· Nurture lasting relationships with a network of customers, vendors, and team members.
· Guide and inspire a dedicated team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of excellence.
· Maintain rigorous compliance with all regulations and company policies.
· Manage financial operations (P&L) with acumen, ensuring the branch’s financial success.
· Stay at the forefront of industry trends through active engagement in events and networking.
Education and Skill Requirements:
· Proven experience as a branch manager
· Budget preparation and execution
· Success with growing a branch
· Demonstrated leadership skills coupled with commitment to driving team success
· Strategic problem-solving abilities with a quantitative edge
· Technical proficiency, particularly with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and the willingness to master ERP systems
