Recruitment Lead, UK & Europe

OVERVIEW

A hedge fund in London is seeking a Recruitment Lead to shape and deliver its hiring agenda. The mandate calls for someone who combines search expertise with the judgement to advise senior leaders. An individual who can identify exceptional talent, engage discreetly and personally deliver demanding assignments.

Lead recruitment across the business, translating hiring priorities into focused search strategies and well-executed appointments.

You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers, bringing market intelligence, rigorous assessment and clear advice to each assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own end-to-end recruitment across investment, technology and corporate functions.

- Partner with senior stakeholders to define requirements and challenge assumptions.

- Build targeted talent maps and engage candidates through direct search.

- Develop pipelines for specialist and business-critical appointments.

- Guide assessment, interview and offer processes.

- Provide insight on talent availability, compensation and competitor activity.

- Manage external search partners where specialist support is required.

- Maintain a discreet, responsive and credible candidate experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

You bring a strong recruitment track record within hedge funds, asset management or a closely related financial markets environment.

We would welcome evidence of:

- Personally delivering complex and specialist hiring assignments.

- Credibility partnering with demanding senior stakeholders.

- Strong direct sourcing, headhunting and talent-mapping capability.

- Understanding of investment businesses and their talent markets.

- Sound candidate assessment and offer-management judgement.

- The ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution.

- Discretion when handling sensitive appointments and market information.

-Experience building or strengthening an in-house recruitment function would be particularly relevant.

The position will be based in London and paying up to £110k + bonus + benefits. The position is hybrid and based in London
